Having completed a BComm in NUIG, I completed my MSc in Shefflield Hallam University prior to commencing my PhD studies on a part-time basis in DCU. My work experience has included experience in HR roles in both public and private sector settings, prior to taking up a full-time lecturing role in Human Resource Management in Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT).
My ongoing involvement with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) has led me to take responsibility as Programme Leader for CIPD professional courses currently offered by AIT. I am Chairperson of the CIPD Midlands Region Committee and also a member of the National CIPD Ireland Committee since 2016. I am a member of the judging panel for the CIPD HR Awards in Ireland.

I would be interested in potential research collaborations in areas relating to HR Practices in SMEs and in Talent Management. I have conducted interviews and explored the Ljubljana summer school as evidence of teaching innovations.
